Week One Visits

Week One of the Campaign

How exciting!  My official first week on the campaign trail.  After a quick trip to Melbourne to pick up the corflutes (thankyou number one son) it was off to the west and Sunraysia made us feel very welcome indeed.  I have to say a big thankyou to Verna and the team of volunteers for making it such a great weekend. So proud that you have my back.

Saturday

I had an absolute ball in Wentworth. Big shout out to the staff at the Darling Junction Motor Inn for putting up with my snoring. Even bigger shout out to the patrons of the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club for putting up with my dancing! What a great campaign launch.

Sunday

Handing out easter eggs to all the little people in Gol Gol and watching the annual Mildura 100 ski racing event on the banks of the Murray River at Buronga.

Monday

After a quick visit to an old friend at Trentham Cliffs, we were off to Euston for a cuppa. Then to Balranald for milkshakes and a meet & greet with some colourful locals.

We passed through Kyalite on the way to Tooleybuc for a game of pool at the club. Then a visit to the CWA at Koraleigh before home for a well deserved rest.

Tuesday

Tuesday was spent at home punching holes in corflutes, chasing sheep out of the wrong paddock and finishing off some ploughing in the paddock before the big trip to Albury.

Wednesday

Lunchtime meet & greet in Moama. Then Mathoura and Blighty. Before an evening meet & greet in Tocumwal.

Thursday

Spending the morning in Jerilderie then off to Berrigan for lunch. Before the big do in Finley.

Friday

Morning tea in Howlong. Then I'm off to the Australian Electoral Office to lodge my paperwork. Albury here we come!
